Author and businessman Clifton Taulbert will be the guest speaker at the Biz to Biz breakfast and trade fair that the New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce will hold Thursday, Sept. 3, in the Celestin and Storyville ballrooms at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, 601 Loyola Ave. The breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. and the trade fair will begin at 10:30 a.m.

More than 90 small businesses will participate in the trade fair. Unlike traditional trade fairs, large companies will directly engage with small-business owners. Using this approach, the NORBCC expects the trade fair to generate new business opportunities for small businesses.

Tickets to the breakfast are $40, with discounts for NORBCC members and groups of 10. Trade fair booths are $495 for nonmembers, which includes a one-year membership to NORBCC and two breakfast tickets, or $395 for members, which includes two breakfast tickets. The trade fair is free and open to the public.

Taulbert is the president and CEO of The Freemount Corporation, a human capital development company that serves large and small businesses. He will be speaking on his journey and his philosophy of creating a successful culture and building a better community.
