For the second year, a dozen young Algiers residents are working as interns under Second City Court Judge E. “Teena” Anderson-Trahan. During their internship, the students shadow the judge and staff, observe court, review cases with the judge and assist with some administrative duties.

This year’s interns are Lauryn Andry, New Orleans Maritime And Military Academy; Dustin Bickham, John Ehret High School; Ja’leel Blanchard, Edna Karr High School; Dominique Davillier, Benjamin Franklin High School; Majella King, Zachary High School; Lauryn Langford, Benjamin Franklin High School; Nia Mbaye, Benjamin Franklin High School; Jerrione Mosley, St. Katherine Drexel Preparatory School; Rashaad Mosley, Edna Karr High School; Kailyn Rainey, Benjamin Franklin High School; Uriah Scott, Edna Karr High School; and Brianna Williams, Landry-Walker High School.
