  • ST. ANN CATHOLIC SCHOOL: The St. Ann Home and School Club will host Family Sunday, with the theme “Family Togetherness: Make it Happen,” after the 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Masses on Sunday, Sept. 27. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria of the school, 4921 Meadowdale St., Metairie.
  • NOCCA OPEN STUDIO DAY: Middle and high school students interested in the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts can learn how to apply and audition at NOCCA Open Studio Day, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 3, at NOCCA, 2800 Chartres St., New Orleans.   • ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA: The junior varsity volleyball team from St. Catherine of Siena School won the Chapelle Queen of the Court Tournament on Sept. 12. Team members include Kate Baker, Emma Bertaut, Emily Kohnke, Emma Scamardo, Zoe Smith, Abby Wagner and Alexis Yuratich.
  • NOCCA COOKING CLASSES: Chefs James Cullen and Robert Barnard will teach three Monday evening cooking classes this fall at the Press Street Station restaurant of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, 5 Press St., New Orleans. A “Terrific Tailgating” class will be held Oct. 12, a “Classic French Cuisine” class will be held Oct. 26, and a “Thanksgiving Tips, Tricks and Treats” class will be held Nov. 9. All three classes will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a cost of $100, with proceeds benefiting the NOCCA Institute and its programs for NOCCA students, faculty and the community.
