35-year-old shot to death in Hollygrove

A 35-year-old man was shot to death Saturday night in Hollygrove, New Orleans police said.

The man was shot before 9 p.m. near Gen. Ogden and Forshey streets. Officers found him lying on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head. He died at the scene.

A pistol was found on his body.

Four people robbed in 24 hours in N.O.

Four people were robbed, one of them inside her home, from Saturday afternoon to early Sunday, New Orleans police said.

About 4 p.m. Saturday, a 23-year-old woman was asleep when a former roommate and two other women entered her home in the 14000 block of Chef Menteur Highway, according to police. The three women jumped on the victim and fled with $140, a purse and a small TV, police said.

About 10:30 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was sitting in her vehicle in the 1100 block of Music Street in Marigny when she was approached by a man with a semi-automatic weapon. Police said the man put the gun to her face and demanded her car keys. She complied, and the man drove away in her vehicle.

About 1 a.m. Sunday, a man and a woman, both 28, were approached by two men in the 1200 block of Esplanade Avenue. One man had a handgun and demanded cash, police said. The robbers made the two victims go inside their home and then took four cellphones.

The incidents followed six separate armed robberies that occurred in a 15-hour span on Friday and Saturday.

Teen wanted after assault and burglary

Police are searching for a teenager in connection with an assault and aggravated burglary in the 7th Ward, according to New Orleans police.

An arrest warrant was issued for Bryan Johnson, 17, after an incident involving a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl.

Police said Johnson entered a house in the 1600 block of St. Anthony Street before 7 p.m. without permission, punched the woman in the face and pulled a weapon on the man.

JPSO reports multiple shootings, robberies

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following crimes:

A man was shot about 3 a.m. Sunday in the 5700 block of the West Bank Expressway in Marrero. The man’s injuries were not life-threatening.

A man was shot before 7 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Faith Place in Terrytown. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

A man was robbed at knifepoint about 5 a.m. Saturday at Carmadelle and 16th streets in Marrero. He was not injured.

A man was robbed at gunpoint before 7 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Abbey Road in Harvey.

A male juvenile was the victim of an armed robbery about 5 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Manson Avenue in Metairie. He was not injured.

Two men were robbed at gunpoint about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Manson Avenue. One man was wounded.

No further details were released on any of the incidents.
