Residents and businesses in various parts of New Orleans will experience low water pressure early this week because of Sewerage & Water Board construction projects.

Customers on several streets in Algiers will experience low pressure from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday as crews repair several fire hydrants in the area. The affected areas will be along Potomac Street from Utah Street to Oregon Street; along Hendee Street from Wall Boulevard to the Wall Boulevard dead end; along Behrman Highway from Indiana Street to Florence Drive; and along Olympic Court from Kings Canyon Drive to Yellowstone Drive.

Customers in the 600 block of France Street between Royal Street and Chartres Street will experience low pressure from 9 a.m. to noon Monday because of water line repairs.

Residents and businesses on North Galvez Street between Jourdan Avenue and Forstall Street will experience low water pressure from noon to 6 p.m. Monday as crews install four water lines that will service the area.

Finally, customers on the north side of St. Charles Avenue between Jefferson Avenue and Soniat Street and on the east side of Jefferson Avenue between Dryades Street and St. Charles will experience low water pressure from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday as workers tie in a water line that services the area.
