NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans police are investigating a triple shooting Tuesday in the 4000 block of Baudin Street that left two men dead and injured an 8-year-old boy.

Officers arrived at a Baudin Street home around 6 p.m. and found two men on the porch with multiple gunshot wounds, a New Orleans Police Department news release says. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The 8-year-old boy suffered gunshot wounds to his stomach and arm, the release says. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.

People were seen leaving the scene after the shooting, possibly in a red Chrysler minivan, the release says.
