Update, 11:30 a.m. Wednesday: Shortly before 8:30 a.m., two men, ages 30 and 31, were sitting on a porch in the 1600 block of General Ogden Street in Hollygrove when a male suspect approached, produced a handgun and began firing, New Orleans police said.

One victim suffered a graze wound to the abdomen, and the second victim sustained a graze wound to the arm, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, going down an alley and toward an abandoned dwelling.

New Orleans police are investigating a possible double shooting in the 1600 block of General Ogden Street Wednesday morning.

In a news release, police said that “possibly two subjects” were shot.

The shooting comes amid a violent few days in New Orleans. In a 24-hour stretch Monday and Tuesday, three people were killed and four injured by gun violence.
