An unnamed teenager has been arrested in connection with two June armed robberies in Algiers in which five victims lost goods.

New Orleans police said the boy, 14, pulled out a pistol and robbed a man of an electronic tablet at Odeon and Lamarque streets about 7:10 p.m. June 29.

Just 20 minutes later, police said, he and another unknown youth held up four teenage boys near Michael and Terry streets, taking wallets and cellphones.

The teen has been booked on counts of armed robbery.
