State Police said they conducted a major two-day sweep ending Tuesday for people involved in alleged automobile insurance fraud, netting nine suspects.

The fraud involved staged crashes meant to deceive insurance companies into making payouts, State Police said.

Police investigators worked closely with insurance company representatives.

Arrested were: New Orleans residents Brandon Jarrow, 23; Faith Williams, 18; Moses Barracks, 31; Lawrinisha McFadden, 28; Nelree Williams, 43; Norris Livas, 23; Temica Walker, 31; Ashley Green, 32; and Rennada Ramee, 27.

Still wanted were Archshana Young, 28, of Harvey; Eric Kenner, 35, of LaPlace; and New Orleans residents Keith Robertson, 38; Samara Egana, 29; Danion Green, 37; Tyron McClow, 39; Albert Davidson, 64; Ryan Clark, 30; and Colleen Brown, 34.
