Members of the Crescent City Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines International recently installed their new officers.

Officers for 2015-16 are Mary Beth McMurray, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, director; Beth Sacco, of Metairie, team leader; Holly DiDomenico, of Gretna, financial officer; Corinna Silberg, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, membership; Jayne McGee, of Metairie, communications manager; Sheryl York, of River Ridge, marketing/PR; Sue Galliano, of Grand Isle, performance coordinator; and Kitty Warner, of Covington, team leader emeritus.

“The chorus teaches and performs four-part harmony, barbershop style, and encourages an appreciation of that musical tradition through education, civic performances and a show in October,” member Judy Theriot said. She called the group’s style of music “an American music art form.”

Women who love to sing are invited to come to rehearsals. Auditions for new members are held at 7 p.m. Monday evenings at Delgado Community College, Music Room, City Park Campus, 615 City Park Ave.
