The Sewerage & Water Board said construction will cause low water pressure in parts of New Orleans on Monday and Tuesday:

Customers in a small section of the French Quarter will experience low pressure from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday as workers install valves on fire service lines. The area affected is along Chartres Street between Iberville and Bienville streets.

Residents and businesses in a section of Uptown will experience low water pressure from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday as crews install a new water line as part of the $55.9 million Jefferson Avenue Canal SELA project.

The affected areas will be along Jefferson Avenue from South Claiborne Avenue to South Robertson Street, along Willow Street from State Street to Jefferson, along Magnolia Street from Joseph Street to Jefferson and along South Robertson Street from Octavia Street to Jefferson.

Customers on South Hennessey Street between Canal and Banks streets will experience low pressure from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday as workers tie in a sprinkler system in the area.
