The New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board has announced two impending disruptions to service.
The board said residents and businesses in a small section of the French Quarter will experience low water pressure from 11:30 p.m. Monday until 8 a.m. Tuesday while Boh Bros. Construction Co. workers tie in a new water main in the area.
The customers affected will be along Chartres Street from Canal Street to Conti Street and along Canal Street from Chartres to Decatur Street.
In addition, customers on Jefferson Avenue between Loyola Avenue and South Liberty Street and on South Liberty between Joseph Street and Jefferson Avenue will experience low water pressure from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
B&K Construction Co. workers will be tying in a new water line in the area. This work is part of the SELA Urban Flood Control Project.
