NCIS: NEW ORLEANS

The state wants to encourage the production of more scripted TV shows, such as “NCIS: New Orleans,” because they spend more time working in Louisiana, spend more resources and lead to more stable jobs. The CBS crime drama "NCIS: New Orleans" is set to return for a 5th season, but it will do so under a new showrunner. 

Brad Kern, who has been with the show since Season 2, will step aside months after it was revealed he was the subject of two separate HR investigations for sexual harassment and discrimination allegations, according to reports. The news was first reported by Salon

Executive producer Chris Silber is set to take over showrunning duties, according to the report.
