Two armed robberies were reported between 9 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The first incident happened in Mid-City about 9:30 p.m. Two men, both 24 years old, were standing outside their car in the 2700 block of Ursulines Avenue when a man with a gun demanded their keys, cellphone and money.

The victims complied, and the robber fled in their car.

Then, about 4:30 a.m., a 35-year-old man was attacked by two men and two women in New Orleans East, police said.

The foursome robbed the man at gunpoint in the 4700 block of Alsace Street.
