Popular hot dog stand ‘Dat Dog’, a cash-only vendor, is reconsidering its policy in aftermath of a Wednesday evening robbery at its Freret Street location on Wednesday evening, according to a WWL-TV report.

The robbery occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. as an employee was cleaning up inside the store a few hours after regular closing hours of 9 p.m.

Police said a man walked into the Freret Street store wearing a mask, holding a gun, and demanding money.

The robber later made his escape and no one was injured, police said.
