Forced inside by bad weather, The New Orleans Museum of Art’s egg hunt went on inside the main museum. Not only was there still a DJ, food, a clown and face-painting, all set amid the museum’s marble columns and fine art, but a spokeswoman said this was the biggest hunt yet. Spread over three floors, 1,500 people scooped up 19,000 plastic eggs. And no one seemed to confuse the miniature eggs on the second floor, created by Russian master jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé, with the plastic versions being uncovered elsewhere.
