You may not be able to see Russia from your house, but did you know that you can see the Mercedes-Benz Superdome from the City Park Ferris wheel? Find out for yourself during “June Under the Moon” from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday at the park’s Carousel Gardens Amusement Park.
Partygoers must be 21, but everyone is invited to act like a child on rides, including the Wacky Shack, the Ladybug Roller Coaster and the century-old Carousel. Wear comfortable clothes and get ready for fun.

The Capstone gardening nonprofit will hold small seasonal Farmers Markets with local growers from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays in June at 5001 N. Claiborne Ave.
The market will feature fresh produce, raw honey and vegetable plants to grow at home. Payment with SNAP EBT and credit/debit cards will be accepted.
Capstone turned 26 blighted and vacant lots in the Lower 9th Ward into productive gardens and orchards. The group provides food at no cost to those who need it and helps people start gardens of their own.

The sixth annual 610 Stompers Ball Crawl will take place from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. June 13, starting at Grit’s Bar, 530 Lyons St.
Participants must be 21, register and sign a waiver. Tickets are $35 through June 12 and $40 at the door. The event benefits CASA Jefferson, Providence Community Housing and VFW Post 8973.

Louisiana Wolf Trap, an initiative of Young Audiences of Louisiana, will offer Baby Artsplay on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 9 to July 16 at the Academy of the Sacred Heart Rosary Campus, 4521 St. Charles Ave.
Caregivers of children 12 to 24 months will gather from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and those caring for children 24 to 36 months will gather from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The program teaches caregivers of children 1 to 3 to use performing arts, such as music and drama, to support intellectual, language, social, emotional and physical development.
