River Ridge music students to perform in benefit concerts _lowres

Students from the River Ridge School of Music and Dance will present five concerts on Sunday, Dec. 21, to benefit a mission operated by the Teresian Sisters under the direction of Sister Angeles Sendin in Batesville and Uvalde, Texas.

The concerts will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. at St. Martin’s Solomon Theatre, 5309 Airline Drive, Metairie. Admission for the program is one of the following per adult: wrapped toy for a child (indicate boy or girl and appropriate age), diapers all sizes newborn through 5, baby clothes all sizes to 3T, baby and adult toiletries such as soap and shampoo, winter clothes (especially jackets used and in good shape), or a check in any amount made payable to Teresian Sisters Mission.

The River Ridge School of Music and Dance is part of the Louisiana Academy of the Performing Arts, which also operates schools of music in Covington and Mandeville.
