Two men were allegedly robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon in Uptown New Orleans, police said.

Around 2:30 p.m., two men, ages 29 and 24, were working in the 2200 block of Upperline Street when an armed man appeared and demanded money, according to a New Orleans Police Department preliminary offense log. One of the victims gave the suspect cash, while the other said he didn’t have any money, police said.

The suspect then fled the scene.
