St. Mary’s Dominican High School will present the musical “A Little Princess” the weekends of April 8 and April 15 in the Sister Ambrose Reggio, O.P. Gymnasium at the school, 7701 Walmsley Ave., New Orleans.

The musical will be part of the school’s Fine Arts Festival, during which Dominican students’ artistic works will be on display in Alumnae Hall.

The musical is written by Tony-nominated composer Andrew Lippa and lyricist Brian Crawley. Based on the classic Victorian-era novel, it is the story of a young girl’s resilience and the power of her imagination to change her world.
