The Touchdown Club of New Orleans recently held its awards banquet at the Lowe’s Hotel.
The Board of Directors Award went to Judge Thomas Wicker, a founding member of the Touchdown Club who served as the club’s president in 1970. Juan Kincaid, of Fox 8 News, received the Roesler Award. The Prep Award was given to Bill Stubbs, head coach of Riverside Academy. Lee Corso, of ESPN’s “College GameDay,” was awarded the College Award, and Joe Browne, senior adviser to the NFL commissioner, received the Pete Rozelle Award for service, named for the first recipient of the award.
