The rapper who allegedly mowed down two brothers sitting in a car in New Orleans East in May was arrested Wednesday in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Widner “Flow” Degruy, 23, a protégé of Lil Wayne signed to his Young Money Entertainment label, has been taken into custody, according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office. His arrest comes on the heels of the Saturday arrest of his alleged accomplice, Jonathan Evans, 18.

Police believe Degruy and Evans killed brothers Kendred and Kendrick Bishop while they were sitting in a Kia sedan in the 3800 block of Bright Drive on Memorial Day. Degruy allegedly left his cellphone at the scene -- a mistake crucial to police obtaining a warrant for his arrest.

New Orleans police intend to book Degruy on two counts of second degree murder.
