MOTHERS’ MASS AND BREAKFAST: The St. Ann Home and School Club will host its annual Mothers’ Mass and breakfast at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday. A breakfast reception in the cafeteria will immediately follow Mass in the church. St. Ann is at 4921 Meadowdale St., Metairie.

CITY UNITED IN PRAYER: The public is invited to the monthly City United in Prayer event on the first day of the month from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. at the exterior concourse of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. There will be prayer Thursday beginning at 6 a.m. People can park for free in Garage 6 and meet at Gate C.

HATTITUDE PROGRAM: The First District Missionary Baptist Association Women’s Auxiliary will host its annual spring fundraiser, Hattitude Program, at 2 p.m. Saturday at the E.J. Thompson Sr. Multipurpose Center, 626 S. Galvez St. The event will feature a parade of hats, hat contest, live and silent auctions, and a Hattitude Marketplace. The cost is a donation of $10 and benefits the Union Baptist College and Theological Seminary. It is held in memory of Sarah Johnson Ricks. Millie Tanner is chairwoman and Thelma Mcgowan and Heather Nelson are co-chairwomen.

SPIRITUALITY IN THE CITY: The final Spirituality in the City talk this year takes place at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jesuit Church of the Immaculate Conception, 130 Baronne St., with Tania Tetlow, the Felder-Fayard Early Career Associate Professor of Law and Director, Domestic Violence Clinic, Tulane Law School. The title of her presentation is “The Spirituality of Survival: Ending Domestic Violence.” It begins at 12:30 p.m. and includes a simple lunch at 12:15 p.m.. All are welcome. Admission is free.

PETER CLAVER TEA: St. Theresa Little Flower Court 52 and the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary will hold a tea from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. May 10 at St. Katherine Drexel Prep, 5116 Magazine St., New Orleans. There will be poetry, dancing and sweet treats, and judging of decorated hats, umbrellas and tables. Tickets are $10. Vendors are welcome at $50 per table. MOTHERS DAY LUNCHEON: The environmental ministry and the men’s ministry of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church will hold a Mothers Day luncheon at noon May 11 in the parish hall, 4230 S. Broad St. Tickets are $10 and available by calling (504) 822-3394. Proceeds from the luncheon will be used to purchase altar cloths for the church.
