The first robbery happened shortly after 9 a.m. in the 1300 block of Feliciana Street. Police said a 38-year-old man was approached by an “armed subject” who demanded his money, took it, and fled.
Then about 12:30 p.m., police said, a 34-year-old man went outside in the 1800 block of Music Street, near St. Roch park, to find someone near his vehicle. The person pulled out a gun, demanded his car keys, rifled through his pockets for a cell phone and money, then fled.
Shortly before 11:30 p.m., another person fell victim to an apparent armed robbery. Police said a 29-year-old woman was approached near the corner of St. Claude Avenue and Louisa Street by a man wearing a red hoodie who implied he had a gun. The man demanded her purse, struggled with her over it, then snatched it and ran away.
Another incident happened near St. Roch Park about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police said a 27-year-old man was shot by an “unknown male” who knocked on his door in the 2100 block of St. Roch Avenue. The victim was taken to a hospital.
