Two men were robbed at gunpoint early Monday in the Marigny, New Orleans police said.

Around 12:25 a.m., two men, ages 55 and 53, were approached from behind by a man in a black T-shirt armed with a blue metal revolver, the New Orleans Police Department said in a preliminary offense log. The suspect demanded their belongings, and the victims complied, police said.

The suspect then fled the scene. The incident happened in the 1000 block of Frenchmen Street, around the corner from The Ruby Slipper Café on Burgundy Street.
