Four people in New Orleans were stabbed Sunday night and Monday morning in three separate incidents, according to police.
A 24-year-old woman was treated and released from a hospital after being stabbed in the body during an argument near the corner of Almonaster Road and North Prieur Street.
Hours later a man stumbled into a neighbor’s home in the 1300 block of Annette Street in Gentilly saying he had been stabbed. The man told his neighbor that a woman had been stabbed as well. Police received a call about the incident around 11:47 p.m.
Another man was stabbed in the Lower 9th Ward around 4:40 a.m. The 27-year-old victim said two unknown men approached him as he left his vehicle for his house in the 6100 block of Chartres Street. One of the assailants tried to force his way into the house. He was blocked from entering but was able to stab the victim.
