Members of the Crescent City Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines International have voted to honor Tina Kneisler of Zachary as a Sweet Adeline Extraordinaire, in recognition of her dedication and hard work for the good of the chorus.

Kneisler is assistant director of the chorus and leader of the baritone section. She directs vocal warmups. She has degrees in music education and choral music, and has been a member of Sweet Adelines since 1988.

Also, the chorus recently added three members: Courtney Payton, from the Irish Channel of New Orleans; Marilyn Pelias of Metairie; and Lynette Rhodes of Slidell.
