A warship is headed for New Orleans in honor of Veteran's Day, according to a report from WTKR.
The USS Arlington (LPD-24) is named in commemoration of terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and steel from the Pentagon is displayed in the ship's museum.
The Norfolk, Virginia-based ship — an "amphibious transport dock" — will be docked in New Orleans from Nov. 9-13. It will participate in the World War II Museum's Veteran's Day events on Nov. 11, according to the report. The ship is available to be toured from noon to 5 p.m. on Nov. 10-12.
