New Orleans police would like to speak with two more men in connection with the fatal shooting of 11-year-old Arabian Gayles and the non-fatal shooting of her cousin and another man earlier this month.
Police believe 20-year-old Romalis Williams and 17-year-old Ronell Martin might have information about the shooting. Neither man is a suspect.
Arabian and several other people were inside of her home in the 1300 block of Gen. Ogden Street just after midnight on Sept. 2 when, police believe, several people walked up and opened fire.
Arabian died several hours later at Interim LSU Public Hospital. Her 11-year-old cousin and a 38-year-old man who also were in the house at the time of the shooting were treated for gunshot wounds and later released from the hospital.
Police previously spoke with 33-year-old Keith Ward, another person of interest. He has not been named a suspect in the case.
Police have not identified a motive in the shooting.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Williams or Martin is asked to call homicide Detective Barret Morton (504) 658-5300 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
