A Dollar General store shift manager who Kenner police say enabled an armed robbery by failing to follow proper closing procedures at the store has been arrested along with her suspected co-conspirator.

Jasmine Braggs, 19, was arrested Friday and booked on counts of armed robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Police claim she let her friend Renard Smith, 18, and another unknown man make off with cash from an opened safe.

Kenner Police Department spokesman Lt. Brian McGregor said Braggs and Smith then used the proceeds to attend a Meek Mill concert.

Smith also has been booked on counts of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Bail was set at $360,000 for Smith and at $210,000 for Braggs.
