The Sewerage & Water Board has announced construction projects that will cause traffic disruptions or low water pressure in parts of New Orleans this week.
Conti Street between Chartres and Decatur streets in the French Quarter will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday as workers install a fire service.
Customers in parts of Uptown, the French Quarter, the Central Business District and the Warehouse District will experience low water pressure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday as crews repair a valve on a 30-inch water main.

Residents and businesses on Conti Street from Bourbon Street to North Rampart Street will experience low water pressure from 11 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday as crews replace a fire hydrant in the area.
Conti will be closed to vehicular traffic from Dauphine Street to Burgundy Street while the work is in progress.
Customers in a portion of Uptown will experience low pressure from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday while workers replace a valve on a water line.
The affected areas will be along Pitt Street from Nashville Avenue to Joseph Street, along Arabella Street from Pitt to Prytania Street and along Joseph Street from Atlanta Street to Pitt.
