Lutcher man killed in St. John the Baptist
A man was shot to death early Sunday morning in St. John the Baptist Parish, Sheriff Mike Tregre said.
About 12:35 a.m., deputies responded to reports of someone shot at Revere Drive and Essex Drive in LaPlace.
They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to River Parishes Hospital but died there at 1:35 a.m.
He was identified as Ian Robertson, 33, of Lutcher.
Officials said they had no suspects or motive for the homicide.

Teenager shot playing in park in N.O. East
A teenager was shot Saturday night while he was playing at a park in New Orleans East, police said.
The 14-year-old boy was in the park in the 6800 block of Curran Boulevard about 8:30 p.m. when he was approached by a playmate, according to NOPD Officer Garry Flot. A second person with the playmate shot the 14-year-old, police said.
The boy was taken to a hospital.
Four adults injured in 7th Ward stabbings
Two men and two women were stabbed when a fight erupted in the 7th Ward early Sunday morning, New Orleans police said.
The victims were all outside in the 2600 block of Allen Street about 1:35 a.m. when they were approached by a man, according to Officer Garry Flot.
The fight began after the man said something to one of the individuals in the group. The other members of the group got involved, and several were stabbed.
Several victims went to the hospital, and one refused, according to Flot.
The victims included a 42-year-old man, a 30-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman, police said.
Man shot Sunday inside 7th Ward house
A 27-year-old man was shot inside a house in the 7th Ward early Sunday morning, New Orleans police said.
The victim was inside a house in the 1300 block of Annette Street about 1:35 a.m. when shots were fired.
Police said he suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital.
Three women robbed at gunpoint in Lakeview
Three women were robbed at gunpoint in Lakeview on Saturday morning, New Orleans police said.
The victims were in the 200 block of Polk Street about 9:30 a.m. when they were approached by a man demanding their money, according to Officer Garry Flot.
The man fled with their purses.
Man robbed at gunpoint on Elysian Fields Ave.
A 48-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning while he was working in the 1700 block of Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans police said.
The victim was approached about 8:25 a.m. by a man on a bicycle with a gun in his waistband. After a brief conversation, the cyclist demanded the victim’s belongings, and he complied.
Woman robbed Saturday in Little Woods
A woman was robbed by a gun-wielding man Saturday morning in Little Woods, New Orleans police said.
The 30-year-old victim was approached by a stranger in the 7200 block of Bunker Hill Road about 10 a.m. The man produced a weapon and demanded her money. She complied, and the man fled.
Dollar General robbed in New Orleans East
An unidentified person robbed a Dollar General store in New Orleans East at gunpoint Saturday afternoon, according to New Orleans police.
The person entered the store in the 13100 block of Chef Menteur Highway just after 2 p.m. demanding money from a cashier, Officer Garry Flot said.
When the cashier did not comply, the person pointed the gun at a 52-year-old woman and demanded her wallet.
The suspect then fled, according to police.
Woman robbed at gunpoint on N. Galvez
A woman was robbed Saturday afternoon in the 7th Ward by two suspects carrying guns, police said.
The 25-year-old victim was approached at North Galvez and Columbus streets about 2:15 p.m. by the gunmen, who demanded her car keys.
Police said the victim punched one subject, who struck her over the head with a gun and fled, taking only her keys.
