Two men were shot near Mojo's Bar on Cleary Avenue in Metairie early Wednesday, according to a report from Jefferson Parish officials.

Officers responded around 2:10 a.m. Wednesday morning to shots fired in the 2900 block of Cleary Avenue, near Mojo's Bar. A large crowd had gathered in the parking lot and officers found a number of spent casings.

Officials at the East Jefferson Hospital reported a man entered the emergency room with a gun shot wound to the chest around 2:30 a.m. Officers responding were told the unidentified male victim was being transported to University Hospital for further treatment for a gunshot wound to the chest and neck.

Police said around 4:20 a.m. another victim was treated at the Ochsner emergency room with a gunshot to his hand. He was identified as Dintrell C. Jolla, 24.

No other injuries were reported.
