  • LITTLE ZION BAPTIST CHURCH: The new church building for Little Zion Baptist Church was dedicated March 6 at 3231 Audubon St., New Orleans. The Rev. Walter Hardy Jr., pastor of the church since 1971, began a march from the church multipurpose building, at 4821 Earhart Blvd., to the new church building for a ribbon-cutting and dedication service. The celebration continued with a week of services featuring Elder Donald Robinson, pastor of Marine Baptist Church; C.S. Gordon, pastor of New Zion Baptist Church and president of the Louisiana State Baptist Convention; and the Rev. Dale Sanders, pastor of Fifth African Baptist Church.

  • LGBTQ+ INTERFAITH SEDER: Temple Sinai, 6227 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, will present an LGBTQ+ interfaith seder at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22. The event is a celebration of Passover and the important place this ancient Jewish festival holds in Christian faith and history. There is no charge, but reservations are required.
