New Orleans police release photo of suspect's car in connection with June 12 shooting _lowres

New Orleans officials are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle wanted in connection with the shooting of a 26-year-old male.

The incident occurred on June 12, 2015, near the intersection of Orleans Avenue and North Hennessy Street.

According to a New Orleans Police Department press release, around 5:00 p.m. Friday the victim was walking on North Hennessy Street when the masked gunman approached and began firing, striking the victim multiple times. The suspect subsequently fled the area in what appeared to be a 2015 Buick Regal.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a green shirt with yellow writing and dark jeans.
