An armed man walked into a graduation party early Saturday morning and robbed 16 people.

According to New Orleans police, the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 6240 Waldo Drive near the University of New Orleans.

The man walked into the party and demanded property. The victims complied, and the man fled out a back door.

No other details were provided.

Man robbed in Bywater neighborhood

A 36-year-old man was robbed by two armed men Friday around 10:40 a.m., according to a New Orleans Police Department report.

The man was walking along the 900 block of Spain Street when the two men demanded his property. Once the victim complied, they fled, according to the report.

A 53-year old was approached by an armed man on Alsace Street around 2 p.m. Saturday morning, according to a New Orleans Police Department report.

The man armed with a semi-automatic weapon demanded the victim's property. Once the victim complied the armed man fled, according to the report.

Gilbert Street armed robbery reported in New Orleans East

A 62-year-old man was robbed by an armed man around 2:15 p.m., Friday on the 4000 block of Gilbert Street, according to a New Orleans Police Department report.

The armed man approached the victim for his belongings and once he complied the perpetrator fled.

Five robbed at hotel Friday evening

Three men and two women were robbed in a hotel room on Airline Highway around 6:15 p.m. Friday evening, according to a New Orleans Police Department report.

A 19-year-old man in the group brought two unknown men to the hotel room. The men began demanding the victim's property when a hotel employee checked on the noise in the room, according to the report.

The hotel employee was also forced in the room. The perpetrators left the hotel with victims' money and celllphones and struck two men with the gun before they fled.

Man robs Empress Hotel

An armed man robbed the Empress Hotel on Ursulines Avenue around 9:30 p.m., Friday, according to a New Orleans Police Department report.

The man jumped over the hotel lobby counter and demanded money. He left with an unknown amount of cash, according to the report.
