When the 2016 National Academic Games Tournament is held in Atlanta in late April, the participants will include fourth-grader Pete Metzinger and fifth-grader Andrew Schafer, of St. George’s Episcopal School in New Orleans.

Throughout the year, Pete and Andrew have competed in the citywide competitions of equations, propaganda, presidents and on-sets to place among the top 20 students in the New Orleans area.

The Academic Games Leagues of America has grade-based divisions for students in grades four through 12.
