New Orleans Boy Scouts achieve Eagle rank _lowres

Two members of Boy Scout Troop 48, chartered at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Uptown New Orleans, have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Ross Bollinger, 18, is a senior at Lusher Charter High School; and David Hagensee, 17, is a junior at Ben Franklin High School.

Hagensee plays varsity soccer at Franklin, is a member of the National Honor Society and belongs to the Quiz Bowl Club. His Eagle Scout service project involved collecting more than 500 pounds of food and donating it to the Second Harvest food bank.

Bollinger is working toward a certificate of artistry in theater at Lusher. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and president of the Lusher Video Game Club. His Eagle Scout service project involved identifying and mapping all the Little Free Libraries in the New Orleans area.
