The Sewerage & Water Board has announced construction projects will cause traffic disruptions and low water pressure in parts of New Orleans this week.
Residents and businesses along Conti Street between North Villere and Marais streets will experience low water pressure from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday as workers tie in a new water line.
South Carrollton Avenue between Fig Street and Pritchard Place will be reduced to two lanes on each side starting at 9 a.m. Monday as crews install a new water service in the area.
The left lane of lakebound South Carrollton will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The right lane of riverbound South Carrollton Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Friday.
Customers on Bienville Street between North Peters and North Front Street will experience low water pressure from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday as workers install a fire service. The same block will be closed to vehicular traffic while the work is in progress.
Residents and businesses on Prentiss Avenue between St. Bernard Avenue and Bancroft Drive will experience low water pressure from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday as workers tie in a water line.
Customers on Flood Street from North Derbigny Street to North Miro Street will experience low water pressure from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday as crews tie in a water line to serve the area.
