Chateau Country Club was the venue for the recent Jefferson Performing Arts Society “Pasta and Puccini” fundraiser patron party. Present and past presidents of the JPAS board, Joy Shane and Debbie Ruen, along with past leading lady presidents Dr. Jane Miller and Karen Villavaso and current leading ladies president, Carrel Epling, were there in “Madama Butterfly” costumes to greet the guests. Maestro Dennis Assaf introduced singers for the upcoming “Rigoletto.” Development Director Valerie Hart thanked presenting benefactor Jeri Nims and all sponsors and supporters. The patron party was underwritten by Russ and Sandra Herman. The co-chairs of “Pasta and Puccini,” Gerri and Murray Valene, thanked their committee. Ginger Crawford received a plaque for doing the publicity for “Pasta and Puccini” for 20 years.
