Police searching for CBD shooters

New Orleans police are searching for two additional suspects in a shooting that occurred Friday in the Central Business District. The incident happened about 3:45 p.m. in the 100 block of South Rampart Street.

One of the suspects is a black male with the nickname “Scully.” He’s about 5-foot-7 and was wearing a dark shirt and light-colored pants.

The second suspect is a black male with the nickname “Tooty” — clean-shaven, about 5-foot-8 and last seen in dark clothing.

Police previously arrested 23-year-old Michael Sanders and 29-year-old Ronald Davis in the incident, which was captured on video surveillance.

Man robs St. Claude McDonald’s

New Orleans police are searching for a man who robbed a McDonald’s restaurant Saturday night.

The incident happened just after 10 p.m. in the 2600 block of St. Claude Avenue.

Police said the man walked up to the drive-thru window, pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money. He received between $80 and $100 and fled on foot.

He is described as a black male, in his mid- to late 30s, about 5-foot-7 and 130 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white bones symbol on the front. His face was concealed with a cap and a lime-green rag or T-shirt.

Man robs convenience store

New Orleans police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store about 4:15 a.m. Monday in the 9200 block of Airline Highway.

Police said the man entered the Magnolia Discount Market and pointed a pistol at the clerk. He received more than $700 from the cash register and fled on foot.

The entire incident was captured on the store’s video surveillance system.

The robber is described as a black male, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black-and-white skeleton mask, black T-shirt and black pants, according to police.

Two robbed Sunday in Marigny

Two men were robbed Sunday morning in the Marigny neighborhood while they were renovating a house, according to police.

The incident occurred about 11 a.m. in the 1100 block of Mandeville Street.

A man entered the house and pointed a silver gun at the first victim, demanding his money and cellphone. The second victim then entered the house. The robber made both lie on the floor and fled.

Man carjacked on St. Philip Street

A 27-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle in the 900 block of St. Philip Street about 5 a.m. Monday when an unknown man approached, struck him in the back of his head and demanded his property.

The robber fled in the victim’s vehicle.
