New Orleans police are seeking a man who they say shot a 30-year-old man in Mid-City in March, leaving him paralyzed.

Joseph Patrick Robin, 20, is wanted on a count of attempted second-degree murder. Police said the victim was smoking a cigarette in a backyard in the 3000 block of Bienville Street about 12:30 a.m. March 7 when he was shot multiple times.

Police had said in March that there were two suspects in the case. Tyler Gamble, a Police Department spokesman, said that after further investigation, detectives determined only Robin was responsible for the shooting.

Police asked anyone knowing where to find Robin to call Detective DeCynda C. Chambers or any other 1st District detective at (504) 658-6010 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
