The Sewerage & Water Board said construction projects will cause traffic disruptions and low water pressure in parts of New Orleans this week:

Emergency repairs to a 12-inch water line will cause low water pressure along Downman Road from Hayne Boulevard to Morrison Road. The work began Saturday, but the board did not say how long it was expected to take.

The 100 block of Bourbon Street, between Canal and Iberville streets, will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and the same hours Tuesday. Crews will be repairing a sewer house connection Monday and performing surface restoration of the area Tuesday.

Customers on the east side of Jefferson Avenue between Pitt and Coliseum streets will experience low water pressure from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday as workers tie in a new water line.

Belfort Avenue between North Lopez Street and Romulus Street just north of the Fair Grounds will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Wednesday as workers perform surface restoration following a sewer line repair.
