Cabrini High School students, faculty and staff kicked off the Thanksgiving food drive for the Hispanic Apostolate of New Orleans as part of the celebration of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini’s Feast Day on Nov. 13.

The Hispanic Apostolate is an outreach project of the Archdiocese of New Orleans that provides assistance to Hispanic immigrants. Cabrini spent her lifetime in the service of immigrants, which resulted in her being named the patron saint of immigrants by Pope Pius XII.
