St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for a person who fired shots Mardi Gras night on Barbara Drive in Slidell, a spokeswoman said Friday.
The incident occurred about 10 p.m. Tuesday when deputies were called to a house on the street after a resident reported hearing multiple gunshots, Suzanne Carboni said. The resident reported seeing an older-model car driving slowly northward along Barbara Drive before turning onto Fremaux Avenue.
Deputies found shell casings near another driveway and a bullet hole in the front window of a nearby car, Carboni said.
The owners of the home said they did not know why anyone would fire shots at their house, she said.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Detective Brian Williams at (985) 726-7820.
