Three different people had their cars stolen in separate incidents in New Orleans on Monday and early Tuesday.

In the first, a 21-year-old woman was approached by a man who pointed a gun at her and asked for her vehicle in the 1700 block of Independence Street in the Upper 9th Ward around 6:40 p.m. on Monday.

Another woman was forced to give up her vehicle after two men entered her house in the 4800 block of Marque Drive in New Orleans East and asked for money. When she said she did not have any, they demanded the keys to her vehicle and left with it.

Finally, police say a man went outside early Tuesday morning for a smoke in the 1900 block of Mirabeau Avenue in Gentilly when another man approached the victim with a gun and demanded his car keys. The perpetrator then took off in the car.
