The Saints are taking a look at Brandon Browner.
New Orleans has scheduled a visit with the cornerback, who was let go by the New England Patriots this week after the team declined to pick up his $2 million option.
Browner, 30, helped solidify the New England secondary last season with his physical play. But the downside was that he committed 15 accepted penalties, the most in the NFL, and only played nine games.
ESPN first reported Browner’s visit.
The Saints are in the market for a No. 2 cornerback to play opposite Keenan Lewis. Former Packers cornerback Tramon Williams also visited New Orleans.
