Early Thursday morning a man was dropped off at the East Jefferson General Hospital with a stab wound to the chest and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, according to a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office press release.
Around 12:15 a.m. Thursday Sgt. Randal Fernandez, who was working an off-duty security detail at the hospital, notified headquarters when Ryan Nunenmacher, 22, of 2201 Cypress Creek in River Ridge, was brought into the emergency room with a stab wound to the chest.
Sgt. Fernandez then learned that Gary Nunenmacher, 28, dropped off his brother, the stab victim, at the hospital then fled on foot.
Investigators are looking for Gary Nunenmacher as a person of interest in this investigation.
