The body of a teen who went missing while swimming near Grand Isle State Park on Sunday was recovered on Monday, according to local police.

The 16-year-old boy was last seen swimming from a rock jetty to a piling at the park, according to a release from the U.S. Coast Guard Eight District. The Coast Guard was notified around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday and used a boat, a helicopter and a plane in the search.

Grand Isle Chief of Police Euris DuBois is expected to make an announcement on the body’s recovery.
