Crescent City Lights Youth Theater to present mathematical musical _lowres

Crescent City Lights Youth Theater will present the New Orleans premiere of “Main Street Kids’ Club: A Mathstart Musical” July 11-13 and July 18-20 at the NORD Ty Tracy Theatre in Gallier Hall, 545 St. Charles Ave. The theater is on the first floor; the entrance is on Lafayette Street.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 1 p.m. Saturdays, and 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are available for $15 at For more information or for group sales, call (504) 598-3800.

“Main Street Kids’ Club” tells a tale of adventure, mystery, friendship and math, based on a series of award-winning books by Stuart Murphy.

The staff for this show includes Lisa Picone, staging director; Edward Cox, scenic designer; Jocelyn Glanzman, costumer; Brian Debs, lighting designer; and Julie Condy, musical/vocal director. There will be a live band with Michael Paszamant, piano; Curtis Pierre, percussion; Simon Lott, drums; and David Pulphus, bass.

The cast include Luke Harris in the role of Toby, the new kid, along with Madalaine Dupree, Aniya Fields, Sophia Galven, Chris Martinez, David Militello, Zori Stevens and Eli Zitler.
